Teaching Schedule

I schedule lessons by the term, generally corresponding to the public school schedule:

Fall -- September through December
Winter -- January through early June
Summer -- mid-June through August

New students may begin at any time and schedule lessons through the end of the current term. Tuition will be less in this case, covering only the scheduled lessons.

The Winter 2009 term runs from January 5 to June 6.

Studio Policies

Here is a short version of my studio policies. Feel free to ask for a copy of the complete policy.

Tuition may be paid in one, two, or three installments. The first installment is due by the first lesson.
Lessons are conducted during the scheduled time. A student arriving late will receive the remainder of the scheduled time. There is no refund for a missed lesson. In the case of illness with advance warning, or in the case of severe weather, I will schedule a makeup lesson on a space-available basis.
Should I have to cancel a lesson, I will provide a makeup lesson or tuition credit toward the following term.
I schedule a studio class or a recital once or twice each term, sometimes replacing the regular lesson for that week. Check the schedule which I hand out at the beginning of the term.
